Emailed a parent with concerns about their daughter. I reached out because their child was displaying uncharacteristic behaviors and I wanted to make sure I had enough information to determine how to best support their daughter in her learning.

I completed a self TESS evaluation and wrote a reflection on my teaching and the things that I would like to improve. This was a reflection on a recorded lesson that had been viewed by my mentor teacher. She offered me her feedback on my lesson as well as another TESS evaluation.
Growing and developing professionally

Through my practicum class I was offered an introduction to teaching with a trauma informed lens. After this I wanted to learn more about how to best support my students and to honor where each of them are coming from. I completed an hour and a half professional development on the Arkansas Ideas website that was not required.
